@media 2006: Europe's Premier Web Design Conference. London, 15th - 16th June.“2006 is going to be an important year in my career”. That’s what I’ve decided at the end of last year. Some of my plans include more reading about web-related issues and start to attend important events related to web design, IA and content management. One of these events is the @media conference which is going to take place in London on 15th-16th June of this year. Now, the only thing I’m not sure of is whether my organization is going to pay for the registration fee and accomodation. A matter of budget, mainly (the UN does not “generate” money).Let’s hope that they will understand the importance of attending these events. Sharing information / knowledge and staff development are essential in any organization.
